What Crosspoint is
Crosspoint lets one mouse and keyboard control all the computers on your desk. Push the cursor past the edge of one screen and it carries on onto the next computer, Mac or Windows. Your keyboard, clipboard and files go with it.
There are two parts:
- The app, which you install on every computer you want to share. The computers find each other on your local network and talk to each other directly, encrypted.
- This website, crosspoint.click, where you download the app, create an account, follow your trial and buy Crosspoint Lifetime.
Set up in three steps
- Install Crosspoint on each computer. On a Mac, allow the two permissions it asks for.
- Pair them with the 6-digit code one of them shows.
- Line up the screens so they match your desk. Then push the cursor past the edge.
Before you start: both computers on the same network, and macOS 13 or later or a 64-bit Windows PC.
